This safari includes your own private safari vehicle and guide from Arusha airport. You will experience game viewing in the Tarangire, Serengeti National Parks, and in the Ngorongoro Crater and Zanzibar Island. The trip is filled with wonderful sceneries and opportunities to view the big 5, and depending on your time of travel you may see the great herds of wildebeest while they roam the plains. You will stay in comfortable camps, with delicious food.
The best islands in Tanzania for an African beach vacation include the Zanzibar archipelago and Tanzania’s Indian Ocean islands. Well-known for their pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and stunning marine life, these islands also have a rich cultural heritage that blends Swahili, Arab, and European influences. While here, travellers can take advantage of world-class diving and snorkelling spots to see vibrant coral reefs and abundant marine life. A visit to historic sites such as Stone Town in Zanzibar is not to be missed.
These islands provide a mix of luxury resorts and authentic cultural experiences, making them ideal for both relaxation and exploration.
This particular itinerary does not travel to the North of the Serengeti, where the herds cross the Mara River (July-October), contact us for options should you wish to view the river crossings.

Day 1 -Tarangire National Park-Karatu

On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, pass customs and meet with your private safari guide. Your safari includes your own private vehicle with an open-top and large side windows, making it ideal for game viewing and ca very comfortable trip.
You depart for the Tarangire, located about 2.5 hours away. Depending on your flight time, you might require a pre-night in Arusha, contact us for options.
The Tarangire is a national park, known for its large herds of elephants and big baobabs. You will experience your first game drive within the park en-route to the camp. Arrive on time for dinner and night.

Day 2 -Karatu-Ngorongoro-Central Serengeti

Early morning wakes up call and breakfast. Today is a long drive into the Serengeti. Enjoy the drive through to the Serengeti for a 3-night’s stay in the Central area. The Serengeti plain is known for an abundant wildlife all year long. The Park is divided into 4 main areas with the Central Serengeti of the Seronera Valley and Seronera River, being one of the most visited area.

Day 3 Full Day Game Drives Central Serengeti

Breakfasts at camp and chat to your guide to plan your days. The game viewing is completely customized to what you wish to experience and your guide will make sure you have the best possible route following the movement of the animals.
The camp is ideally placed to explore three excellent game viewing areas: Seronera, the Moru Kopjes and the southern Serengeti plains. The Seronera River is a gathering place for lots of wildlife, providing ample opportunity for spotting predators in action. The Moru Kopjes are a cluster of old granite boulders, favored by big cats that like to use them as lookout points. You might even spot the rare black rhino. The southern plains are covered in lush grass between December and May, perfect for calving wildebeest.

Day 4 -Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Karatu

Early wake up call and drive down with a packed breakfast into the Ngorongoro Crater. Once a gigantic volcano, it is the largest intact caldera in the world. Today, long since having collapsed and eroded, it is an extensive highland area with the famous 600 m deep Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth.
Enjoy a wonderful game drive on the Crater floor and a picnic lunch and exit the Park to drive back to Karatu for overnight

Day 5 -Karatu-Arusha-Zanzibar

After breakfast you will drive for a transfer to Arusha airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and greeted by your guide and then transfer to BAWE ISLAND for your good 4nights

Day 8- Ngorongoro Crater Tour-Arusha

On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. We will drive to our accommodation at Arusha

Day 9 Bawe Island-Airport

This day take your last Island breathtaking as this day mark a last day for your remarkable Bush to beach Safari. Let us know your time for international flight back home so we can arrange for you transfer to airport accordingly
